Self Defense Class

Students learn basic self defenses from chokes, punches, knives, and guns. Students also learn proper falling, hand-to-hand techniques, and the location of pressure points on the human body to influence an attacker’s behavior.
 
 
Kids Kick Kids Kick
This mixed martial arts class for ages 7 – 14 combines the learning of traditional forms or katas with the practicality of self defense and the discipline to know when to use these skills. Classes are 60 minutes featuring a variety of self defense techniques to defend against the most common attacks. Students also learn basic combatives such as punches, kicks, elbow strikes, knee strikes, etc. done to fast-paced high energy music. At the core of this class is the more traditional aspect of performing katas or forms (choreographed patterns of movements done solo which can be practiced at home) as well as learning the meaning of honor, integrity, discipline, and other martial arts concepts.

Extreme Conditioning Class Extreme Conditioning
Be all you can be – except in your waistline! You want to get into shape, but you don’t have anything that resembles a plan? EXTREME CONDITIONING is PERFECT FOR YOU! This exciting class will challenge you both physically and mentally with a variety of exercises using body weight resistance, plyometrics, drills, obstacle courses, etc. Its goal is to help you build muscle strength, stamina and endurance.
 
 
Cardio Kickboxing Class Cardio Kickboxing
Self Defense combatives done to high energy music combined with heavy bag work and circuit training stations. This class will focus on proper Kickboxing techniques in addition to conditioning and cardio. This class does require Striking or Boxing Gloves so bring your gear; or if you need gloves they can be purchased in our pro shop.
 
Kettlebell Class Kettlebell
Men and women get in shape from head to toe with Kettlebell training. The Russian Kettlebell is the ultimate tool for overall fitness.
   
Fight Class
 
 
Standup Fight Class Fight – Standup (Fundamental / Advanced)
Strengthen your defensive and offensive skills of ring fighting and self-defense using both ground and standing techniques.

Notes
 
  1. Members enrolled in the self defense classes may attend their class level, and one level below, as often as they choose.
  2. Classes are approximately 1 hour – unless otherwise noted.
  3. Class sizes are limited – please arrive 5-10 minutes early for check-in.
  4. Proper athletic shoes (white soled or non-marking only) and workout towels are mandatory.
  5. Dress code for Commando Krav Maga classes: Training pants, Commando Krav Maga t-shirt and proper athletic shoes.
