Commando Krav Maga is one of the fastest, most practical, most effective, self-defensive systems around. It was designed to give you quick, simple, easy to learn defensive methods to ultimately save your life. CKM is specifically designed for those individuals who may (or may not) have a martial arts background but lack a more combat-oriented approach. This class will teach more aggressive and effective tactics to defeat even the most dangerous of attackers.
In CKM you will be taught skills that are based on real-life situations. This allows each student to build controlled reactions that will with-stand unexpected, high-level pressure and stress. It is important to train and retrain both mind and body in CKM. When it comes to a real-life attack you shouldn’t have to think of how to defend yourself, it should come naturally.

Each class is 60 minutes long and typically divided into a 10 minute warm-up, 40 minutes of technique learning and practicing, ending with a 10 minute pressure drill of what you just learned. Level 1 and 2 techniques you will learn include choke escapes, hand gun disarming, knife defense tactics, ground survival, pressure and weakness points, break falls, escape from holds, surprise attacks and much more.
We want to keep you from getting hurt but also want to keep each situation as realistic as possible. Mouthpiece and groin protection are occasionally required depending on the technique being taught; shin and arm pads may be used but not required; so bring your gear or visit our pro shop.
So bring a friend, arrive 10 minutes early and make sure to wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move your arms and legs easily. We recommend some type of exercise pants (gym shorts, sweats, etc.) and a non-restricting t-shirt or tank shirt. For shoes, lightweight cross trainers are best. To help protect our floor mats we require that your shoes have non-marking soles. Also you will probably want to bring a towel. Water, Gatorade, and Propel products are available in our pro-shop for $1.00.
